As a result of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, our home and orphanage was badly damaged and is no longer livable. All of our 22 kids and staff are currently staying with a neighbor. We all survived though and only had one child injured by the quake. We are currently in the process of purchasing property (see picture above) and plan to rebuild as soon as the resources come in. We will need your assistance with finances and also with building teams to come help us rebuild! If you would like to give, you may click on the links located at the right side of this page. Our focus has not been only for us but we have also been assisting other orphanages in need by carrying food and supplies from the Dominican Republic. Please continue to pray for us and this country. ABOUT US Michael and Andrea Brewer are the founders of ReachHaiti Ministries. They sensed the call of God to move full-time to Haiti in August 2009. Since then, the Lord has birthed the orphanage, a church plant, ministry in City Soleil, and a Bible College. Our story is somewhat different than most people, however, we made a committment from the beginning to let the Lord lead us and direct us always. MINISTRY In addition to our orphanage, we have started a new church plant currently meeting in our home. Most of the people who attend have come to the Lord through personal evangelism in our community. We have been building relationships with these people and are being able to disciple them with the help of our weekly Bible School on Monday and Thursday nights. Most people, whether saved or not, can sing the hymns and tell you about the spirits, but down here, most people have never been taught the true Gospel or the Word of God. They are hungry for the Bible and for the power of the Holy Spirit. We are expecting a great outpouring in Haiti as they continue to grow in the Lord everyday! SHORT TERM TRIP Would you like to experience Haiti for yourself? Come on a short term trip! We can house and facilitate several different areas of ministry in Haiti from orphanage work, construction, medical, remote area outreach, evangelism, feeding program, crusades, prison ministry, and so much more! MISSIONARY TRAINING SCHOOL Impact International School of Missions is a 9-month Bible college focused on training you to take the nations. It will be the most intense and adventurous 9 months of your life, but when you leave, you will be confident and ready for ministry in any situation. Our classroom is the unreached people of Haiti. Our focus is real life experience. Our goal is to Impact, Instill, Impart, and Inspire our students to give there lives not for the “American Dream” but to carry the banner of Jesus Christ to every nation, until all have heard.
