With evil in her face, a deep voiced responded and said, “Lucifer.”

With a week of prayer behind us and great anticipation in our hearts, we visited a new area last night. The question was simply this: “Does the Lord want us to begin a new fellowship in this area?” While preparing to show the Jesus film, the crowd had already grown to over 150 people. They were excited we had visited them and were already asking us to return.

We had over 500 people watching the film just after darkness had fallen. I was sitting on the motorcycle praying for God to convict people as they learn of the true life of Jesus. As the film was nearing the last 15 minutes, where Jesus was going to the cross, I heard screams and saw people all turning to see the commotion. It is not uncommon for Haitian people to get very excited quickly, so I was waiting to see if it would pass or not. After a few seconds, I realized something was happening that needed my attention.

As I approached the situation, I was asking myself if this was a fight or was it demonic? When I got through the crowd, I saw a woman on the ground acting like a snake and two men trying to drag her off! I stopped the men and was trying to ask our Pastor what her name was. To my surprise, a demon spoke out of the woman and said, “Lucifer!” A little caught off guard, I quickly took authority over the demon, and the woman came to her right mind. I told the crowd to go back to the film because the purpose of the manifestation was to distract the people from hearing the Gospel. When we looked for the woman again, she had ran away!

It was a powerful night because we had over 300 people make a confession of receiving Jesus as LORD!

We are going back to this area Wednesday and meeting with the new converts to discuss starting a new Fellowship. We are very confident the Lord began a new work there last night!

Please be in prayer for all of the new converts and for God to give us the wisdom to teach and train them. Also, be in prayer for Pastor Jacques as he has accepted the position of Zone Pastor over this area. We have worked with him for a year now, and he has proven to be a faithful man of God.

Each time we go out to show the Jesus film, it cost us between $5 and $10 USD to purchase gasoline for the generator. Yes, gasoline is about $5 per gallon here! It doesn’t sound like much until you do it three or more times a week! We are extending to you an opportunity to take part in this work. Will you become a partner today? A monthly sponsor of only $25 will cover 3 – 5 outreaches per month! If you can’t commit to monthly sponsorship, will you consider a one-time donation? A donation of $25, $50, $100 or more will help us reach out and share the Gospel with a nation in deep darkness! Click her to donate now!
