Marilyn: January 4, 2010

Hey everyone. This is 2 year-old Marilyn. My friend Diddi found her in a remote village near Dini. We got her to the hospital yesterday but she is fighting for her life. She has Kwoshker’s disease, a severe protein deficiency and her body is in starvation. The hospital can’t give her any fluids or she would swell up and die. They are giving her medicines by mouth and a milk supplement to help her regain strength. When Diddi and I went to visit her again last night, her mother was by her bed praying and reading her Bible. As I was talking with her, Marilyn reached out of her crib towards me. I grabbed her hand and prayed for her. I couldn’t help but cry over this poor child. We are asking you to stand in agreement with us in prayer and intercede for Marilyn. She needs a miracle from the Lord to survive. We know God is the ultimate healer and can heal all things in Jesus’ name! We will be updating more later. Thanks for your prayers!
