ReachHaiti Ministries has been safe from the cholera outbreak so far. We were. however, the first responders unintentionally to the prison outbreak in Mirebalais. CNN ran a story confirming what we shared and saw in the prison last Thursday. Click here to read their article as well as the most up to date info on the cholera outbreak here in Haiti. We are not aware of any cholera patients in Crois des Bouquets at this time. We will continue to update as often as we can.

This week has been busy already! Mike is currently back in Forte de Pin with a team from RIO Restoration in Maryville, Tennessee doing another leadership/pastoral conferenec for 3 days. They will be back home on Wednesday evening. Please pray for them to have a fruitful week and for these leaders to be trained and encouraged to go and share the Gospel throughout the mountains! The team was also scheduled to do prison ministry on Thursday and Friday. Please continue to pray for the opportunities to share the Gospel, especially through this time of crisis in Haiti.

Andrea has been hosting another team mostly from New York. Dr. Rich has come back again to lead the team and help us do more medical clinics this week. We treated 68 patients today at a clinic in Gidon, our new land. We saw mostly minor illnesses but definitely no cholera or anything close to it. We will be doing more clinics at Gidon on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Pray for the team to also receive opportunities to share the Gospel with those we are able to help and treat this week.
