October has been another busy and fruitful month for ReachHaiti Ministries! We also had a personal loss this month with Andrea’s Papaw. The team from our home church, RIO, arrived in Haiti today so please be in prayer for their week. They will be holding leadership training conferences, spending time with the kids, taking a trip to the mountains, holding outreaches with the Jesus Film, and ministering in the prisons including the largest prison in Haiti located in downtown Port au Prince.
Two weeks ago, Andrea’s Papaw Taz went home to be with the Lord. He lived an amazing 90 years and had a very full life! He was a blessing to so many people and impacted so many lives. Andrea’s family has setup the Taz Puckett Memorial Fund in memory of her Papaw and his life to be used to help the ministries of ReachHaiti. If you would like to donate to the fund, please click here.

We hosted a large team from Fairview United Methodist Church in Maryville, TN the first week of October. The team was busy doing medical clinics, outreaches, spending time with the kids, and visiting the prisoners. They treated hundreds of patients in just a week! We also did our first medical clinic in the prison and treated over 300 inmates. Thanks team for such a great and hard-working week! We appreciate you all!
.
The second week of October, we hosted a team from Monte Vista Baptist Church also from Maryville, TN. The team of 5 had raised the funds to build our first church in the mountains! They spent a busy week in the Foret de Pins building the church and completed it in just 6 days! Thanks team and Monte Vista for your support and for blessing our churches in Haiti! We appreciate all of you!

We would like to thank each of you for your continued support of ReachHaiti Ministries. You all make this work possible! We would also like to thank everyone for the support of Andrea through her pregnancy and the loss of her Papaw.
