It will be the most intense and adventurous 9 months of your life, but when you leave, you will be confident and ready for ministry in any situation. Our classroom is the unreached people of Haiti. Our focus is real life experience. Our goal is to Impact, Instill, Impart, and Inspire our students to give there lives not for the “American Dream” but to carry the banner of Jesus Christ to every nation, until all have heard.

The school highlights are as follows:

* Associates Degree in only 9 months

* Room, board, food, training, and degree for only $500 per month

This is our challenge to you: Will you give 9 months of your life to training on the mission field? You could be the next person to reach an unreached people group of this world!

Early Morning Prayer, Late Night Goat Stew = Unique Training

At Impact International, you will have an intense and very unique training that is not available anywhere else. With our early morning prayer for the Nations to an occasional late night Goat Stew, you will have 9 months full of valuable and practical missionary life, while also earning your Associates Degree. We have a strong emphasis on Church planting, evangelism, and starting other Bible colleges. Our academic side of the school is challenging with a lot of good reading, approximately 1 – 2 books per week and most of the Bible. It is not as difficult as it might sound since our sole purpose is training. We also have many small group discussions, videos, and some guest speakers, both local and abroad.

A Typical Day may include:

6:00 Early Morning Prayer for the Nations
7:15 Breakfast
7:45 Worship, Devotions by the students and staff, Testimonies
8:30 Class room training, personal and video instruction
11:30 Chores for the base and dorms, free time
12:00 Lunch
12:45 Language learning
2:00 Reading assignments
4:00 Specials
5:00

Free for Dinner

6:00 Evening possible outreaches, visits to local villages or orphanages, and homework such as book reports

The previous is an example of what a typical day could look like. Many days will vary with our local outreach schedule. We also have many fun activities that are scheduled for the weekends and evenings as well as several different local Churches to attend. We want you to have as much time getting to know the local people and culture as possible. While doing this, you will be learning the language very quickly. Most weeks, you will average around forty to forty-five hours in study and ministry time with about twenty-five percent of that time in the classroom.

Prepare for a life changing experience with God!

Qualifications

We are looking for people who will walk in humility, submit to authority, and respect the culture of the people we are reaching. If you can do that and send us some references, then we are willing to prayerfully consider you for this school. When you contact us,  we will then discuss any further requirements. We will accept most people that have a heart after God. Our goal is to get you in the school, not to keep you out. Your denominational affiliation or lack there of is not something we consider. Your heart for God is the most important.

Is this a typical Bible school?

No. Most Bible colleges focus on turning out the most educated and smart students. It is very possible to be very smart in Biblical principles but not be very effective in advancing the Kingdom of God. While we believe education is very important, it is not our primary focus. Our desire is to impart knowledge as well as experience in a practical and hands-on way. For example, if you take a spiritual gifts test at Church,  go study about that gift and the proper use of it, write about it, and spend time in prayer about it, but never use it, it is useless. What if you take that same test today, and tonight, read and pray about it, and tomorrow, you go to the streets and villages of Haiti to use it? How much more effective would you be?

What is the language?

The native language of Haiti is Creole, and the business language is French. Our school is lead by Americans so our training is in English. Remember, we are very focused on you learning to speak Creole. This is a big part of your cultural training, and it also earns you a lot of respect with the natives.

What are the benefits of learning in Haiti?

The main benefit is the experience of your training. While gaining a solid Biblical education, you will also receive what most institutions can’t give which is the practical and hands-on experience of missionary life and work. We don’t just teach you theories; we show you reality.

Is it safe in Haiti?

The answer is yes and no. With missionary service in any country, there are always dangers. We are taking a message of love as well as repentance to a country bound with demonic powers. Those powers hate us and what we stand for. As the scripture say, Satan has come to kill still and destroy. He would love to destroy you and me, but we also walk in the protection of Jesus our Savior.

We cannot say that nothing will happen to you. We must leave your decision up to you to prayerfully consider. We do use common sense about where and when we go places, just as we would in any country. Every country has its dangers and crime, even in the Unites States. However, we always use wisdom and prayer when we make decisions to where and when we go places in Haiti, and we always allow the Lord to lead us in His direction.

I’m not called to do full-time mission work. Will I still benefit from the school?

Yes! Although you will be involved in mission work during the school, you will be receiving a solid foundation for a victorious life anywhere. We expect that many of our students will return home and get a regular job. However, they will also leave as a solid Christian, ready for any of life’s  situations.

What kind of Degree will I get?

You will receive a Certificate from Impact International Ministries. You will also receive a Diploma from International School of Ministry (ISOM). The credit you will receive from ISOM will be transferable to Vision International Educational Network‘s government accredited Diploma of Christian Ministry.

This award is issued by Vision International Education Network. It uses the same accreditation as Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia, accredited by the Australian Government through the NSW Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board (VETAB).

The advantage of this award is that it can be used in all North American States on resumes, business cards, job applications, and letterheads.

If you plan on continuing your education beyond the Associates degree, you will need to determine if the credits will be transferable. We will not be responsible for individual schools accepting or rejecting your earned credits.

Why is the tuition so low?

We strive to keep our costs low, but the primary reason is the cost of living is very low as well as the costs of facilities are spread out between several students. The costs are low, but the experience is priceless!

Would you allow a student to serve with you as a missionary after completing the school?

If you are interested in missionary service with us, please let us know as soon as possible or on your initial application. Depending upon the relationship that is developed during the school, we may invite you stay with us as an apprentice. It is our desire to keep as many people as our Lord will send to us to impact the nation of Haiti.

Let us know your desires for the future!

I’m ready to apply. How do I apply? Or I want more information.

If you don’t see a link to an online Missionary School application, then send us an e-mail to reachhaiti@gmail.com or brewerfamily@msbx.net, and let us know that you would like an application. We will forward one to you right away.

May I come to Haiti before the school starts?

Yes, we even recommend this because it will allow you time to adapt to your new surroundings and begin learning Haitian Creole before starting school. We are very flexible with how early you come. Just let us know.

The monthly costs, however, will remain the same at $500 per month which will cover housing, food, and ministry transportation.

Will I have access to the internet?

Yes, you will have access to the internet for sending e-mails and newsletters home. We also limit time on the internet. You will have plenty of time for contacting people though

May I bring my laptop computer?

Yes, please do. You will need it for writing book reports during school. If you don’t have one, you will be writing by hand (which takes much longer).
